Professionals in the commercial building industry need additional knowledge to offer Solar PV systems to their customers than residential designers or certifications dictate. This course takes the material from the Solar PV residential designer series and scales it up to commercial sized systems. It also adds material on commercial project considerations for code compliance, permitting, design software, and the project process. Students must have taken a Solar PV Fundamentals and Solar PV Design, has taken a NABCEP Entry Level training program or equivalent, demonstrate experience in Solar PV, or a licensed professional in engineering, architecture, or construction trades.

What Will You Gain?
You’ll gain both the technical and hands-on knowledge needed for commercial installation, sales and design. You’ll have the knowledge of advanced design, sizing, safety, and sales techniques needed to be professionally involved with Solar PV systems for commercial projects. You’ll also be well prepared for the NABCEP PV Installer exam, having taken the PV Entry Level program as a prerequisite or an equivalent training, licensed engineer, architect, or contractor. This will be a professional certification, which is distinct in Solar PV as the industries “gold standard”. You will be able to learn from our cutting edge online training program around your schedule. This solar training program is broken down into multiple modules that will help create a comfortable study pace for you. There are quizzes attached to each module that will help you build confidence with the knowledge obtained. There is no need to rush through the training program because we give you 3 months to complete the training program.

Live Classroom Description
Take this training with interested peers at one of our locations. This solar training program is broken down into modules that will help guide the students along their path of completion. Our instructors make sure that all students are progressing along requiring student involvement every step of the way. Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
